"Dormant Fields, Taos Mission" Painting By Mario Larrinagna

(1895-1979). Original oil on board; 24" x 28" . Of Basque and Mexican descent, Larrinaga left Mexico for this country at age 10. His formal education was in Tucson, where he studied briefly at Chouinard Art institute in the 1920s. He worked in Hollywood, earning the title of "Master of Scenic Art". In 1951 he settled in Taos. Well framed.
