Shotgun has been completely restored, Barrels refinished, Wood refinished, Case Hardening, Gold Inlays. The Damascus pattern looks great, barrels show very minor pitting, and bores show very minor pitting The barrels were most likely lightly polished, but not honed during the restoration. There are no dents or dings on the barrels and they ring true. The action and case colors are 100% restored condition. The wood is mostly a nice looking straight grain. There are no cracks or splinters missing. I believe the stock to be original to the shotgun, with the checkering recut and shortened slightly to accommodate the installation of a pad. There is a silver oval present on the stock with a bird feather lightly engraved on the oval. The forearm has a horn inlay at tip. The shotgun includes leather covered case in excellent condition and letter from Atkin, Grant & Lang confirming configuration. I have hunted with and fired this shotgun using light RST loads. The shotgun is currently within proof.
