U.S. Springfield 1896 Krag .30-40 krag caliber carbine. Very nice 1896 Krag carbine. Stock is in great shape with a sharp cartouche, dated 1897. Carbine has correct “C” marked rear sight. Bore is great with strong rifling. Receiver has a brown patina. Barrel retains 80-90% original blue. Excellent, attractive carbine.
