English Tap Action Over/Under Flintlock Pistol by Bond London. “Crown P and Crown V” proofs on frame. These are turnoff barrels (they unscrew). Bores are smooth bore except for the rifling at the muzzle. Bores are excellent. Action works by turning the lever on the leftside of the frame. The breech block turns to the next barrel for firing. Lock has a sliding safety. Boxlock frame has sprays of engraved flags. Trigger guard bow and sliding safety are lightly engraved. Stock is near excellent, except for very minor handling marks. Note: Barrels are numbered 3 and 2 which correspond to 3 and 2 on the frame. Bond was a well-regarded gunmaker. Barrel length is 3” and overall length is 8”.
