Remington 700P Police Sniper System chambered in .308 Winchester. Developed in the 1980's primarily as a Law Enforcement tool, though available to the general public, the PSS rifle has been adopted by a large number of police departments throughout the country. This rifle features a 26" chrome moly medium heavy barrel with a recessed crown and 1-12" twist. The metal retains 98+% of its original parkerized finish. The stock is a factory pillar bedded H.S. Precision stock with factory pad and free floated barrel. These rifles were accuracy tested before they left the factory, and were guaranteed to shoot 5 shots in one inch or less (MOA). This is a very clean example of a classic factory police sniper rifle at a very good value. Rifle includes Leupold one piece base and rings. Sorry, no box or paperwork.
