A very HIGH ART, Early Mexican Holster. Will fit a Colt Single Action with 5 1/2 inch barrel or a Smith and Wessen Single Action or Double Action frontier era revolver with a 6 inch barrel. This holster Features a Pitiado High Relief inlay woven from cactus fiber that is a lost ethnic art. Ca. 1900 to 1920. in excellent original condition with every stitch tight and every lace in place and the leather is 100% alive. The safety strap, pouch, and skirt were ingeniously cut from one piece of leather so the safety strap would not need to be sew on. The Pitiado design has an Aztec border and a yucca plant floral motif. This holster will add GLORY to your finest Colt or S&W. We always answer questions and entertain offers.
