The Uberti Cattleman El Patron CMS (Cowboy Mounted Shooter) .357 Magnum revolver is one of the finest single actions that Uberti makes. It features a hand-assembled and hand-tuned action with premium Wolfe brand springs that is smooth, fast, and reliable. This "CMS" model is designed to be shot from horseback with ease, and easy to fast-draw from a holster with a shorter barrel and a custom hammer with a lowered profile. The El Patron has a 3.5" inch blued barrel and a hand-fit and serial numbered to the gun blued 6-shot cylinder. The steel frame and hammer are color case hardened and beautiful. The Walnut grips are checkered and perfectly fit to the grip fame and tight. This example is in excellent condition and comes with the original box and inserts. The original blue finish rates 98% with only some very small handling/storage marks visible under close inspection. These are most likely the result of haphazard safe storage where the guns were not in individual cases. The case colors are bright and beautiful, rating 99%. The bore and cylinder bores are bright and minty. The rifling is still sharp and looks brand new. The gun absolutely looks to be unfired since leaving the factory. The checkered Walnut grips are in like-new condition and are free from any signs of wear with crisp checkering. As you can see in the pictures provided for this listing, this is a great looking pistol that has a very clean, minty appearance overall. The original box still has the factory end-label intact and comes with the original owner's manual and factory provided gun lock. This El Patron would be a great addition to any gun collection, and a lot of fun to shoot at the range or in a cowboy action shoot. The action has to be felt to truly appreciate how good it is.
