The Velodog was a French design by Charles-François Galand specifically made for carry by cyclists to defend themselves against dogs. In fact, the name “Velodog” combines the word “Velocipede” with “Dog”, which is quite interesting. It was copied & produced all over Europe into the beginning of the 20th Century for the purpose of self-defense. It features a small size, internal hammer, and folding trigger. This model also features a push-button safety. Liege proof marks are located on the right sight of the frame and on the cylinder. Overall condition is very good. The original blue is 65%. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in good condition. The bore is very nice and well-rifled. The action is excellent. Here is a very nice European self-defense revolver. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 2 inches in length. Caliber: 5.5mm Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING.
