Description:
Since the Civil War, Smith and Wesson revolvers have been a staple of American heritage. Millions of Smith and Wesson revolvers have seen action everywhere, from law enforcement officers, military during World War II, to hunting expeditions worldwide, to the bedside of many protecting their homes. With such an extensive company history, it comes as no surprise that this K-38 is considered such a great revolver. This model predates the "Model 15" stamping that started the following year. This revolver is in very good condition; there is some minor pitting on the frame, some finish wear on the barrel tip, and some oxidation on the ejector rod and cylinder release. Overall though, the bluing appears bright and in good condition. The barrel and frame are matching serial numbers.
