Colt M1911A1 .45 ACP caliber pistol. Lend-Lease for Britain. U.S. inspector “GHD” (George H. Dain) on frame. British proofs from The Birmingham Proof House with “Crown BV” on slide and frame. Also marked “Not English made” on frame. Bore is excellent. Gun has 97-98% original finish. Serial number is from 1945 year of production. Excellent Lend-Lease Colt 1911A1.
