Description:
An exacting reproduction of the iconic 1911 commercial model, these feature a flat mainspring housing, narrow, checkered hammer, original-style safety and slide stop, smooth trigger and diamond-panel walnut grips. This pistol comes complete with 1 two-tone magazine. As a great deal of Turnbull's reputation arose from his exacting finishes, this pistol is finished in a period-correct Carbonia Charcoal Blue that's hand polished in the same manner as the originals. And every bit as exquisite as Turnbull's finish is the fit. Slides are precisely mated to frames for a taut, silky smooth, rattle free metal-to-metal fit. This pistol looks to be factory fired only.
