Description:
Serial #577437, .22 LR, 24" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome little rifle with the metal retaining 95-97% of the original blue with a few bits of silvering along the edges of the barrel flats, and a handful of the projecting edges. There is some mild silvering and freckling at the muzzle, as well as some further silvering on the bearing surfaces of the magazine tube. The grooved walnut forend and semi-pistol grip buttstock have not been sanded, but do have an added varnish over minor handling marks and small scratches. The crescent steel buttplate has more freckling and a few tiny areas of pinprick pitting as well. This is a great little .22 Remington and rates excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
