Description:
Winchester model 36 shot gun. This collector grade example shows its' barrel with 90% original blue and clear crisp markings. The barrel marks are 2 line and extend 6 1/8" the 9 mm rim fire bore rates as bright excellent. The blue is thinner at the carry point ahead of the breech and on the trigger guard. The wood shows 90% plus original finish with the main loss at the hold point at the front end. otherwise it shows minor usage marks. The original butt plate and screws are in excellent plus condition . There were only 20,000 of this model built (1920-1927) as garden and pest control these saw normal hard usage. This example is in above average collector grade condition with 9 mm shot shells available.
