RUGER NO.1 ENGLISH STALKING RIFLES & PRE-WAR M77*
Many hunters develop a close bond with their primary rifle. Over time it becomes more to them than just a firearm and a tool of the harvest. It becomes a very personal possession - a trusted companion on every hunt. Because of its quality of design, materials, and craftsmanship, it stands the test of time and continues to prove to be more than up to the task of bringing home the harvest without fail.
We believe that every man deserves to own and hunt with at least one Great Rifle in his lifetime. A rifle that becomes a trusted friend and a treasured heirloom. We can design and craft a Ruger No1 that will become that One Great Rifle for you.
OUR SERVICES
We begin with your rifle stock and provide the modifications that will convert your tired and worn Ruger No.1 into a sleek and slender English Stalking Rifle with all the features of those great rifles of the Nineteenth Century. Our service consists of lowering and thinning the comb, reducing the bulk of the forearm by thinning and reshaping, and the addition of a faux ebony tip on the forearm.
For the M77 we can provide the Rigby-styling as mentioned above, or we can provide a Germanic Pre-War 77 featuring a paneled receiver if desired, and Schnable forearm. We can even add a faux forearm key for that really authentic German look.
Finishing with our all-weather Vintage Finish and restoring the original-pattern checkering completes the process.
The cost for this service is only $1,450.00 for the No.1 or for M77s and results in a wonderful custom Stalking Rifle without the high cost of restocking. Our customers comment that our English Stalking Rifles are a real joy to carry afield.
We can also provide these services for other quality rifles such as CZ 550, FN Mausers, Winchester 70s, Remington 700s, Husqvarnas, and other quality bolt actions.
Engraving
We have recently been given the opportunity to add high-end laser engraving to our offerings for Ruger No.1s as seen in the photos. Unlike traditional engraving costing thousands, this unique artform is available as part of your Trophy Rifle package for only $500. The addition of fine engraving not only adds value to your Trophy Rifle, it adds a touch of distinction that few other No.1 rifles possess.
