This is a Smith and Wesson 1917 2nd Model in .455 Webley. This 1917 was built for the British military in in 1915. This 1917 was shipped to Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. on September 9th, 1915 as they were the purchasing agent for the British Government. The finish on this Smith has a fair bit or wear marks and scratches all shown in the pictures. There is a Holster and a Factory Smith and Wesson Letter to validate all details of this firearm. The bore on this firearm is Near Mint and the lockup and timing are very tight as well.
