WWII REMINGTON U.S. Model 1903 Infantry Rifle
Bolt Action .30-06 Springfield
Here we present a U.S. Remington Model 1903 Rifle. The Model 1903 was, of course, adopted by the US in 1903. It was issued en mass during World War I through World War II. This rifle would have been issued during World War II and very likely used in combat.
The top of the receiver is marked “U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 1903”. The muzzle end of the top of the barrel is marked “R.A./Flaming Bomb Ordnance Mark/10-42”.
The overall condition is fair. The metal surfaces are weathered and dark with age. The markings are clear. The walnut stock is in good shape, smooth and solid. The bore is a dull gray color with good rifling and an eroded ring near the muzzle. The action is excellent.
