Sold Pending Funds - For sale is a collector's grade Smith & Wesson model Pre 27. This 357 magnum revolver comes adorned with the highly desirable 8 3/8" barrel. The gun is numbered correctly throughout, including stocks, and has been researched to have been manufactured in 1956. The overall condition of this 5 screw pre 27, pinned barrel is just plain mint. The original factory blue is like liquid metal – S&W’s high polish is arguably the best from this time period. The case hardened trigger and hammer finishes are superb. Exquisite artistry and finely detailed craftsmanship is on full display with this mid 20th century Smith & Wesson revolver. These models are known throughout the world for perfect engineering on one of the most powerful shooting platforms of the day. All screw heads are perfect and the fitting exact. The rear sights are micro click adjustable with a fixed front ramp. There is only the very slightest collector/storage type finish wear noticeable on the bottom right side of the trigger guard and barrel end. Shipping to AK or HI will have additional costs for which buyer is responsible. I will need a copy of an FFL dealer license to ship the gun. There is a 3 day, no-shoot, no disassembly inspection period and the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping both ways if returned. If your FFL dealer will not accept shipment from an individual, I will need an additional $40 to ship through my FFL.
