Description:
This is a Colt factory conversion of the U.S. Navy Colt percussion to 38 Long Colt centerfire. It has the Navy anchor on the rear of the barrel top and U.S.N. on the butt. It has matching serial numbers 7128 except for the almost always-mismatched cylinder. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good, bright and shiny with only a few very small corrosion specks. It retains 50% blue, 50% case colors and very crisp markings. The cylinder retains 85% cylinder scene and the right grip toe has a small chip missing. Overall this is very fine plus condition 1861 Colt Navy-Navy conversion.
