Description:
This is an extremely rare rifle for several reasons. First off, there were not many G29/40 rifles made.
These rifles were assembled out of Steyr and captured Polish Radom parts, so not a lot of them were produced. Second, this particular rifle went to the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) - marked M on the stock and most of those rifles ended up on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean instead of being captured. As a result, combination of these two factors contributes to scarcity of G29/40 German Navy marked K98s.
Also, this rifle is NOT import marked and all matching, including small parts such as floorplate screws and band retaining spring that were often broken or lost and later replaced . These rifles are highly desired by collectors because of their scarcity and value..
