We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

The Ruger SR1911 Government, like the original Colt Government 1911, is designed to provide the shooter with a reliable, accurate pistol for multiple uses including home protection, target shooting, and self-defense. Like the majority of 1911 pistols, it is chambered in the venerable .45 ACP, a cartridge well known for its stopping power. The pistol weighs 2.44 lbs. empty. The pistol has Novak 3-dot sights and an extended beavertail. The original grips have been replaced by more comfortable, finger-grooved Pachmayr grips. These provide the shooter with a better grip during firing. These grips illustrate the 1911’s ability to be customized to fit the shooter’s needs. There are plenty of aftermarket grips available, as well as custom parts such as ambidextrous safeties, night sights, extended slide levers, beveled mag well adapters, and many others. The 1911 has been around for over 100 years and is still popular today. Ruger makes some of the finest 1911s available today, at affordable prices. On top of that, Ruger is well known for having excellent customer service. If you are looking for an accurate, reliable 1911 for defense, competition, or just having fun at the range, the Ruger SR1911 is an excellent choice. The pistol has a small amount of wear on the left-hand side of the slide. There is a light scratch and some dings are present. Neither of these will affect the pistol’s performance. The frame bears some scratches on the bottom, but these are light and could be polished out easily using Flitz polishing compound. The bore is in excellent condition. The sights are easy to pick up quickly – one of the reasons why Novak-style sights are so popular among 1911 users. The pistol comes with the original box, the original grips, the manual, two magazines, and a Ruger carry case.
