Description:
Bayonet and scabbard do not have matching numbers bayonet has 42 ASW code and SN 1326c. It was made by EF Horster. Blade has about 90% factory blue finish. The very tip is just lightly dulled..No rust or pitting. Scabbard is in very nice condition no dents and has a plum patina. Number is 0468. Frog is dated 1938 with maker stamp OTTO Something? Closing tab torn as you see. Not perfect but still a very nice looking example.
