Here is a nice Colt Lightning in a favorite old west caliber, .44-40. Now a westerner could team up his Colt Frontier Six-shooter with a Colt magazine rifle- one size of ammunition for both. Bore is very fine as is the function, 26" octagon barrel. Metal is generally a grayish patina but no rust.The wood is generally in good shape except for an old repaired crack on the left side by the tang (pictured). Serial # is 76xxx which shows 1896 production so no ffl or C&R required shipped to your door unless local law prohibits. $50 shipping and insurance via priority mail.
