Winchester Mdl. 63, Ser 51388A Cal .22 Super Speed ,Super Ex. WOW!!!, Winchester Mfg. 1942., Wartime production. It must have been in 1940 and eventually left the factory at the height of the the BIG WWII.
74 years old and it is flat out pristine. If it had the box it would be next to impossible to tell from factory new. There isn't mark rust spot, scratch or rub mark anywhere. Not even a pin prick. I would rate the factory blue at 99.99+% just to cover my rump in case I missed something,
The stock and forearm are also minty, no scratches, dings, chips or splits anywhere. The original factory lacquer is about the same as the blue Again at worst case 99.99+%. The only thing that has changed over the last three quarters of century is the the cocking rod. It was shipped in the white and has toned slightly over the years. The bore like the rest of the gun is pristine. Mirror bright, with razor sharp rifling, and without the slightest touch of frost anywhere.. If you need a centerpiece for that precious Winchester collection.
