O/U Double Hammer Rifle/Shotgun Combo, Unknown Maker, CA. 1850’s. 28” BBL’s, 44” OAL, .40 Caliber Rifle over 12 Gauge Shotgun, both with very good bores. Unmarked lock with single trigger with scroll engraved double hammers. German Silver Furniture including “deer head” patch box with finger spur triggerguard & crescent buttplate. Original dual ramrods present on both sides of the barrels secured with 3 pipes, with left rod featuring ball retriever shank. Equipped with rear tang flip up adjustable sight with V notch middle & front peep sight. Front sight is adjustable sliding left to right. Overall, very good condition with no markings present with barrels showing a pleasant brown patina. Stock is very good showing typical scattered use marks with no visible cracks.
