Description:
Browning Superposed Midas Grade 12ga 2bbl set in fitted Browning case. This shotgun retains 98% overall condition and has one set of barrels 30" long choked modified and full, and the other set of barrels are 26" long and choked improved cylinder and modified. This shotgun was manufactured by Browning in Belgium under special order for A&F( Abercrombie and Fitch) which are stamped on both sets of barrels in 1966. The engraving on this shotgun is outstanding and was done by A. Diercyx who's name is on both sides of the receiver in very small letters. The right side of the receiver has three gold ducks in flight and the left side has three pheasants in flight with a gold quail on the bottom of the receiver. This is the finest grade shotgun made by Browning at the time.The forearm and round knob stock are extra fancy walnut with a high gloss finish, and multi point checkering with scalloped borders.The forearm latch is also engraved and the buttstock is fitted with a Browning kick pad to 14 1/2" overall LOP length of pull. There is a hang tag from Collectors firearms stating that this is not a salt gun and was thoroughly checked for this. All the paper work for this shotgun is included.
