Description:
Here we have a upland gunners dream shotgun. It will be home in the grouse woods and the rooster fields. Made by one of englands best makers. Address is 9 Golden Square, Regent street London. This is a true 2" 12 gauge, the gun is in proof and stamped for 7/8oz loads. Made after 1927 and is in excellent original condition with its original makers case. 26" barrels choked IC/MOD with ejectors that work perfect .013/.023 5lbs-4oz 14 1/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 3/16 My wife shoots the gun just as it is and I shoot it well with the leather slip over pad at about 14 3/4 pull. Barrels are mint with perfect bright bores, 98% blue and ring like church bells! Super tight on the hinge like it was made yesterday. Double triggers are crisp, non auto safety. The wood stocks are highly figured and excellent and look to be origianal finishes. Receiver has good color case and only shows light use. Wonderful beaded breach balls with some nice english scroll. Trigger guard bow is turning to a goldish color at the were point along the grip area and outer bow, the inner bow is dark blue. Few really good 2" game guns come available, here is a hi condition un-melested example. May take A.H. Fox 16gauge with ejectors on trade??
