These two-piece gold picture boxes were used in the late 1940,s and early 50,s,apparently right after WWII when commercial production resumed.The box shows age and wear but is solid.There is no end label and one photo of backside shows faintly black crayon marks of a serial number. The photos show some traces of dried up oil inside, but the English instructions in top lid is clear to read.
