The barrels are new inside and out and ring with an awesome chime. This piece is original, and the barrels have 99% blue, the wood is 97% with very light hunting marks, the checkering is at 100%, the coin finished frame and forend iron are at 98%. The whole is cased in an Italian Nizzoli leather trunk with a trade label and a nice set of accessories. Here is a Classic Italian game gun with manual cocking hammers for fun 12 Bore gunning by one of the up and coming gunmaking firms in Italy since 1966. This is a treasure in the field and in the gun cabinet.

In this age of the computer driven machine, this period when plastics predominate, there appears to be a surprisingly strong urge to development of the manual skills. With this traditional piece, you will be more than pleased. There are hammer guns and then there are serious hammer guns. The difference in liking a gun or loving a gun is in the detail.
