Description:
Cal 22 LR. Featuring the very scarce 5(4) pattern of engraving. Factory work no doubt. Referred to as the Monarch of the Glen. Features a large elk on a mountain on one side and a grizzly feasting on a cow on the other. Very unusual to see a Big Game scene on a 22 rifle. This gun has been elaborately done with engraving extending up the barrel and on the forend cap. Original 24 inch full octagon barrel and full length mag tube. Original sights. Pistol grip checkered beautifully grained dlx walnut stock. Checkering in pattern “F”. Hard rubber shotgun style buttplate. Overall gun is in excellent condition having a factory refinish quite some time ago. It still retains about 95% of the bright case colors and vivid blue on barrel and mag. Extremely attractive gun!
