Description:
Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight chambered in the classic .308 Winchester. This rifle is in near new condition inside and out. The original blue finish rates at 98+% and the stock is nearly perfect. The stock has very nice shape about it and features fleur-de-lis checkering pattern, schnabel forend and factory red recoil pad. It has a Simmons Pro 50 2.5-10X scope and also retains the original factory iron sights. The rifle features a short action and weighs in at 8.4 lbs with scope. It is a shame that Winchester no longer makes this version of the model 70, it may have been one of their best efforts post 1964. This is a really nice looking rifle that would make a perfect light weight big game rig.
