Description:
Over a century ago, a manufacturer in Suhl produced this beautiful combination gun for a Berlin, Germany company called O.G. Scherell, who marketed the gun to potential customers.  Manufactured between approximately 1912 to 1923. Chambered in a unique tri-barrel configuration: a 16 gauge double barrel shotgun, and a popular old caliber designated 9.3x72R. Full coverage game scenes and floral engraving decorate the receiver. 26 7/8" original Krupp steel barrels, fixed choke Full right and Modified left. 12 3/8" and 13 5/8" L.O.P. 80% barrel blue with excellent bores throughout. Overall high quality gun in very good condition. Own this piece of century-old history!

Metal Condition: Overall very good with satin bluing fading at mid barrel. Action in the white with engraved game scenes.
Wood Condition: Oiled walnut with very good checkering and various minor surface scratches.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny smooth bores with sharp edges on the rifle barrel lands.
Barrels: 26 7/8 inch round blued 3 barrel configuration.
Triggers: Double triggers, front also fires the rifled barrel. Shotgun safety tang mounted, rifle safety left side mounted.
Stock: Oiled walnut with very good checkering and various minor surface scratches.
Stock Dimensions:
12 3/8 inch rear trigger LOP, 13 5/8 inch front trigger LOP.
Fore End: Checkered walnut to match the stock.
Butt Pad: Synthetic butt pad.
