Description:
Very nice condition 1892 SRC in .25-20 WCF. Manufactured in 1924, has about 90% blue remaining on received with thinning blue on edges and bottom from being carried. Barrel retains 97% blue and magazine tube starting to plumb a little. I can't decide if the finish on wood is original or if it's had a light coat of varnish added a long time ago but definitely looks period to me. Rifling on bore is strong and shiny with a hint for frosting. I have shot this carbine and shoots very nicely. 100% sound mechanically. Wood to metal fit is very proud.
