Here is a beautiful example of the IBM carbines. This one is in the 3,853,400 - range and, except for the magaine, is correct according to Larsen's book and is in excellent condition with the added bonus of having an excellent bore! The magazine is a good quality modern replacement.
The photos, while good, do not really show the wonderful condition of this carbine. Yes, it has some wear, but just enough to attest that it saw real action, but the wood finish glows and the metal is sharp and crisp! It's a very nice carbine for $1450 - plus shipping/insurance.
