U.S Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor .45-70 caliber rifle. Wood is good with a minor repair at the front barrel band. Sharp cartouche dated 1881. Metal has a brown patina finish. Bore is good with strong rifling. Action is crisp. Overall good gun!
