Rare Stevens " Favorite" single shot take down rifle.The gun is in near perfect all original condition. The barrel is 22 inches long and dated April 17, 1904 ( see the picture )
You could say that the gun is early manufacture, the serial number is 11
There is a factory original rear tang sight, a factory original fold down barrel sight, the bore is in great condition being bright and shiny.
I would say that the bluing is approx 20% with blended in patina, there is absolutely no rust and all parts are original. The stock is also all original as well as the butt pad. The stock is in near perfect condition and has not been re-finished and in near perfect condition. Hard to believe since this gun is well over 100 years old.
I have owned this little gun for over 30 years and it is time to move it on down the road.
I would say that this little gun would make some special young man a very nice Christmas present.!!
