MARLIN 39A CUSTOM RIFLE, 24 inch Round Barrel, OUTSTANDING CRAFTSMANSHIP DEEPLY ENGRAVING AND CHECKERED FOREARM & STOCK, CHEEK REST ON REAR STOCK, WHITE DIAMOND INSERTS IN FOREARM & HEEL OF STOCK, BALLARD RIFLING, 5-Diget Serial Number 114XX, Period exact RARE TO BE FOUND BEAR CUB SCOPE, Hammer SPUR, Steel Filler tube correct for period of rifle, Barrel is very nice with clear smooth rifling, NO PITTS or MARKS in barrel. A VERY BEAUTIFUL ONE OF A KIND RIFLE. Rifle manufactured between 1939 and 1946. NOT a 1942 thru 1944. This information came from Marlin records.
