A rare find!!! A. Morganroth single shot rifle, stalking rifle. 25" octagon barrel, double set trigger, SN is 28xx. Very cool European rifle! I believe its a German manufacture. I cant find any caliber or chamber marks to hit of a caliber. Underside of the barrel is dated 1/29/43. The gun is stamped on the top of the barrel "A. Morganroth in Gernrode. I/A.". Factory open sights with an adjustable rear sight. Fabulous stick of wood, has the antlers expertly worked into the gun on the forearm tip and break open lever. Pictures do not do the gun justice!
