THIS colt was purchased in our gun store last week, its a colt, 1911, "united states property"it was made in 1918-1919, for the u s army, and never used. i checked the gun in the charles clawson book on 1911ss, and the 1911 book by j c harrison and this colt is 100% correct. The box , i believe is from the sale of military firearms by the N.R.A. and the C.M.P.in the late 1940s..the condition is new in the box .two -twotoned mags, new.
