Smith & Wesson honored the Texas Ranger's 150 years of service by issuing this Model 19-3 and Bowie knife cased set in 1973. This revolver has many special features including; smooth target grips with the Texas Ranger's seal in the medallions, target hammer, smooth wide combat trigger, narrowed right side of trigger guard, white outline rear sight, red ramp front sight, and the Texas Ranger seal engraved on the side plate. The Bowie knife is serial numbered the same as the revolver. Both are stored together in an attractive wood presentation case with the Texas Ranger seal on the lid. Case also includes the factory S&W screwdriver, cleaning rod, brush as well as the keys to the case. The entire outfit is in excellent and unfired condition. Most of these are tucked away in collections and rarely come up for sale.
