Colt 1851 Navy .36 Cal. Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative in excellent condition. This 2nd Generation Colt was made in 1971 as a set of 1851 Navy's to commemorate both Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee. Only 4750 of each were produced. They were issued in walnut presentation cases complete with accessories to include; bullet mold, powder flask, nipple wrench, and percussion cap tin. The revolver retains 98% of its original finish with only some very minor freckling on the nickle grip frame. All original blueing and case colors are present and the gun is most certainly unfired. This cased set is one of Colt's more attractive offerings and would be a fine addition to any collection.
