Lever action rifle; serial #117072. 44 cal, with 24" octagon barrel. The brass was silver-plated. The left side of the receiver has an
engraved action scene of horse and rider shooting a buffalo. Could be "Buffalo Bill". The engraving is Nimschke style, but is not signed.
