Description:
Smith and Wesson 1905 Hand Ejector model in 45 ACP; This revolver started life as a 455 Eley and during the great war was arsenal rechambered by the British into accepting the 45 ACP cartridge with moon clips or the 45 Auto rimmed. Lots of military proof marks on the gun and each cylinder was proof marked as well in the conversion. This revolver is mechanical in very good condition and has no issues except for the cosmetics. It would be a great candidate for a professionally done re-blue.
