Description:
Serial #10192, .44 Caliber, 9" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is No. 32 in a series of 100 limited edition revolvers and features Samuel Walker's signature inlaid in gold on the left side of the barrel breech, as well as his portrait in gold on the left recoil shield. The revolver is built on a Colt Signature Series revolver, and also has Samuel Colt's signature in gold on the backstrap. The barrel retains nearly all of the original blue finish, with a commensurate amount of color case-hardening present on the frame and loading lever (which does have a small, barely noticeable spot of surface wear on the underside of the rammer). The cylinder is coin-finished, and the brass trigger guard has a bright yellow patina, but does exhibit some freckled tarnish along the exterior of the trigger guard bow. The revolver is housed in its original wooden presentation case with plaque, dark green baize lining, inner glass lid, and small portrait of Captain Walker mounted to the inside of the exterior lid. This is a splendid, modern rendition of the famous Walker Dragoon, in excellent condition, and is very attractively embellished. Antique
