Description:
Serial #14810, .32 S&W Long, 4 1/4" barrel with a good bore that has moderate pitting along its length. This is a round-butt revolver with matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor with the metal retaining 70-75% of the original nickel finish with the balance flaked to dark brown underlying metal. The hammer and trigger have traces of color case-hardening remaining, but are also predominantly a dark, plum-brown patina. The revolver is equipped with period, genuine mother-of-pearl grips that have some age toning and darkening along the edges, as well as a tiny chip missing from the butt on the right panel. The lock-up is tight, and the action is fully functional. This is a good plus example of the first S&W HE with an under-barrel lug. FFL or C&R
