Description:
This is a 35 5/8" rod bayonet for the Model 1888 Trapdoor Rifle and retains 90-95% of the original blue finish with some silvering along the length from contact wear. There is some further mild freckling on the knurling just behind the faceted tip. This is a hard-to-find component (most are still attached to rifles) and this example is in fine original condition.
