Description:
In the late 1970's, early 1980's, Colt made a limited number of these MK IV/70 Series Gold Cups with the satin electroless nickel finish. These came out of their Custom Shop and were standard MK IV/70 Series Gold Cups, except for the finish. The pistols were fitted with a 5 inch National Match MK IV/Series 70 barrel and accurizer barrel bushing, adjustable trigger, serrated solid rib slide, patridge front sight, Elliason adjustable rear sight, checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, and chambered in .45 ACP. This gun has been shot, but very little from its appearance, possibly factory test fired only. It looks like new except for couple of minor handling scratches from the slide stop lever. Comes with its original numbered to the gun box, (2) 8-round magazines, and all paper-work. Rarely seen Colt 1911.
