Description:
A very nice marlin Model 1893 rifle chambered in 30-30 Winchester. These rifle were manufactured between 1893 and 1936 and were one of Marlin's most popular offerings. This rifle was made in 1910, and features a 24" round "Special Smokeless Steel" barrel, straight grip stock and full tube magazine. The condition is excellent with approximately 80% of the bright case colors still showing on the receiver. The barrel, magazine, and forend cap retain approximately 95% of the original blue finish. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action works perfectly, is very slick, and locks up tight. The wood shows light handling marks, typical of the rifles age. The stock appears to have had a coat of finish added to it at some point in its life but shows now evidence of being sanded and still sits proud of the metal. Overall a very clean example of its type that is in perfect mechanical condition.
