SUPERB GEORGE BEITZINGER PRE-64 WINCHESTER MODEL 70 DELUXE .375 H&H CAL. EXPRESS RIFLE W/SCOPE CA. 1970’S. 24” barrel with hood and ramp front sight and sling swivel mount. Lyman receiver sight with aperture bar in butt plate compartment. Barrel engraved on top “GEORGE BEITZINGER LTD- NO. 4021”. Gold inlaid lettering and numerals. Redfield 4X scope in Griffin & Howe double lever side mount. English style deluxe walnut checkered pistol grip stock (15” pull) with ebony forend cap. Gold oval monogram plate on butt. Superb mint condition. Only fired a few times. One owner gun. By the infamous George Beitzinger of Long Island, New York-one of the greatest American rifle makers of the late 20th Century formerly of Griffin & Howe for many years until he established his own firm.
