Description:
Original Swedish made Danish Police Husqvarna M40 aka Lahti L-35 in excellent condition. Original finish 98-99% condition, all matching, not import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on grips, great bore, functions fine.
Comes with 3 mags, Swedish holster, cleaning rod, and combination tool.
In 1940 two representatives from the Swedish army bought the production rights of Lahti L-35 from Eimo Lathi in Finland. Sweden produced these guns at the Husqvarna factory, so the pistol was named Husqvarna M40. This pistol used the Bergman locking system, but looked like a Luger. While most of these pistols were made for Swedish military forces, this particular pistol is 1 of 10,000 that was delivered to the Danish Police, as can be seen by the D Prefix and HV control mark on the back of the receiver.
