CIVIL WAR ERA COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET REVOLVER CIRCA 1860. .31 caliber 5 shot with 5” octagon barrel having the desirable 2 line “ADDRESS SAML. COLT/HARTFORD, CT” barrel address. All original except for the barrel, wedge and lever screws which are correct modern reproductions. All matching serial numbers in the 17x,xxx range. Re-blued overall. Metal with wear and no cylinder scene but visible address and “COLT’S/PATENT” on frame. Good original grips. Cocks but cylinder does not rotate. Good bore and chambers. Nice looking for display. A Civil War Colt Model 1849 Pocket at a reasonable price.
